Hello and welcome to the Capel Horticultural Society website where we aim to provide visitors with information on all that we offer our members and local community. We have tips on gardening and growing as well as competitions and details of all our events as well as some interesting facts about the Society. This site is for members and non-members alike. If you are not yet a member, do please consider joining.

The Society was founded in 1893 its objectives being to “encourage horticulture and the domestic arts”. The Capel community is key to the success and longevity of the Society. The founders would surely be pleased that 125 years on it is still thriving here in the beautiful Surrey countryside at the foot of the Surrey Hills.
